For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

In case you need to hear again that Our God Sooooooo Love us.  Here it is: For God So Loved the World that He Gave His Only Begotten Son that Whosoever Believeth in Him Should Not Perish, but Have Everlasting Life.

We all Live Because of Our God.

To share with you a few thoughts from what My Lord shared with me, is the least that I can do.

Thought # 1 - God told me that He was preparing me for what He has prepared for me.
(Don't you know that God knows what it takes for us to enjoy what He has already prepared for us?)

Thought # 2 - God asked me why do I get discourage when I am in preparation for something?  He said don't be discourage when you are in preparation for something: Get discourage if you are doing nothing to get prepared.
(So in our preparation we are doing things that helps us be prepared for what God has for us such as loving and serving others, talking to God, listening to God, obeying God, etc.)

Thought # 3 - Platinum Praise is what God told me to have.  What is Platinum Praise?  This is the kind of Praise to God that nothing can hinder or stop it from going forth.
(Things that come in our life can be so devastating that we are stopped in our tracks.  God don't want us stopping.  He want us to Praise Him At All Times.  So pull out your Platinum Praise and Praise Praise Praise God Always.

I hope you are encourage by these words.  God is Loving on You Right Now.

WORDS SPOKEN TO ME BY GOD.

God was speaking to me this morning.  He asked me "Do you have faith in your prayer or in your God?
He said, People can quickly loose focus.  They can quickly incorporate their works to bring about the solution.
He said, Don't work to obtain, work because you have obtained.
He said (Have Obtained) is a very important key.
He said, As humans, you can say you have obtained only when you see, but I say you have obtained, when I say!
He asked, So do you obtain when you say or when I say?
You only say, when you see.
I say, say what I say because what I say, IS.
You shall have what you say, if it is what I say.

Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

He Won't Let You Drown

 Written By Dorcas C. Chandler

It was a gloomy mid-day Thursday morning and I was sitting at the dinning room table doing some paper work.  A tap came on the door, as I looked up; I said "come on in".  It was my friend coming to visit me with her grandson Caleb.  When they came in we spoke and greeted each other. There stood a bright eyed little boy who I had never seen before with the softest brown eyes you could ever imagine. This was my friend who came to visit grandson "What pretty eyes" I commented to him, he said "Thank you".  Then he turned and went on his way.

As I visited with his grandmother, I was watching this young boy out of the corner of my eyes. Something was special about this little boy, I could not place my finger on it, but it seemed as though I was in the presents of a king.  Thoughts ran through my mind of the story of Joshua and  in Caleb the bible.

As his grandmother and I visited with each other he was sitting on the couch looking around at everything and then he decided to go outside and look around.  I could tell that he was an adventures type of child. He went up between our house, and then came back down the side as though he was looking for something to do. He returned to the house and asked his grandmother for the keys to her car so that he could listen to a CD that he had.  She gave them to him and we continued our visit.

Finally it was time for them to go.  I did not want to see them leave without saying something more to Caleb.  I asked him, "What do you want to be when you grow up"?  He looked around the room and then replied, "Oh," Taking a deep breath "own Chaplains Bar-b-Q, be a Chaplain, and be a preacher".  "Wow!" I said to him "your grandfather has such a positive influence on you!" You see all of the things that Caleb wanted to be were what his grandfather was already.  Then Caleb stopped and paused and said, "You know, I hate going to Palms Springs".  This seemed to come out of no where.  We were not talking about Palms Springs he just up and came out with it.  He used the word 'hate" and it seemed so powerful in his spirit, I wanted to know why he felt that way so I asked him why?  He said because every time we go to Palm Springs my grandpapa makes me get in the swimming pool and them he makes me swim to him.  His expression on his face was that of fear and dislike. I could tell that he did not know how to swim or that he was not comfortable with it.  I paused and looked at Caleb and said to him; "Caleb, he said "ha", but have your grandfather ever let you drown.  With deep thought, he placed those big brown eyes up in the sealing of the house, and then he looked back down and said no.  It was as thou he had come into the realization that even thou his grandfather were having him swim to him, that he always made sure that he was safe and nothing never happen to him.

Then it was time for them to leave. And as we said our goodbyes and they left to go home.  I went into my room to work and I could not get that conversation off of my mind. I kept hearing 'swim to him'. Then I heard a voice in my spirit; and this is what I heard.  Now Caleb grandfather makes him swim to him, not away from him, trying to teach him how to swim. To swim, Caleb must first get rid of fear of the unknown and water in the swimming pool.  As I continued to work I heard again, 'swim to him'. Then I stopped to entertain the thought. Jesus is the master teacher and He is always teaching us how to walk this Christian walk without fear.  He places us in situations that are sometime uncomfortable and sometime we have some uncertainties.  Then He commands us to; launch out into the deep.  'Swim to Him'.  Then as I sat there I could see Jesus showing me in every situation of life, if we keep our eyes on Him, He will never let us drown.  I thought of ever seemingly impossible situation in my life and I begin to thing of Jesus and how he has never let me drown.  He was always there with stretched out hands waiting to catch me when I took my eyes off of Him, or when I was afraid and needed His help.

What a powerful lesson Caleb brought to me, Just like Peter when he wanted to walk on the water and Jesus told him to come and Peter got out of the boat and walked. Then he took his eyes off of Jesus and began to sink, but Jesus did not let him drown.  The beauty of the matter is, He was there for Peter and He will be there for us also.  He did not let him drown and He will never let us drown.  Know matter what we are going through, we can have confidence in Jesus and know that He is saying; ''just swim to Him', and know just like Caleb and his grandfather, he won't let you drown, that His arms are always open.  Never-Give-Up Never!

The Power of Resistance

Written By:  Dorcas C. Chandler

It was a rainy and wet morning outside. I could hear the rain pounding against the window panes and on top of the house. It was a good day to relax and enjoy the rain.  My plans were to get a few chores done around the house and get prepared to relax and watch a video. However the ring of my telephone interrupted the morning taking me into a new direction.  The caller was upset and angry and did not waste any time expressing it.  After I hung up the phone, my head was pounding. I could feel the blood rush to my head and before I knew it, I was in a state of anguish.

 All I could say was wow!  I did not argue with the upset caller, but I could have told this person a thing or two.   It was amazing to me how what was happening brought to my remembrance something the Lord had been ministering to me. It was resistance. Resistance means confrontation, fight or fighting, battle, struggle and conflict. This word had been on my mind all week and I had been pondering it in my heart, wondering what God was saying to me.

My day had been altered. My headache was going to see to that.  I laid across my bed, and began to rehearse the conversation.   The rehearsal went something like this:" I don't know who they think they were talking to. This is not my problem anyway. Who do they think they are?" etc., etc...

 I replayed the incident over and over in my mind as I laid with my head throbbing against the pillow.  The person had called me back again, and I was about to take the conversation to the next level.  Then I thought, for what? This is not worth it. I held my peace.  Pick your fights; if you are not going to gain anything, trash them!   It is as simple as that.  It is a new year.

After awhile God began to speak to my soul, letting me know about resistance.  He said, if you want to get rid of the headache let go of the resistance... release it.  I asked him how, and he told me to stop rehearsing it.  God began to minister to me. My headache left after I released the offense and let go of the resistance.  We can be free, and yes, we can win over the power of resistance!

All things are possible if we just believe. The next time confrontation comes your way, and it will come, resist the power of resistance as it wars in your mind. Then stop the rehearsal in your mind, pray and God will help you go to the next level.

 Why is it that we seem to argue every time someone does something that we don't like?

 It is because of resistance.  Some people come from backgrounds in which people don't properly handle confrontation.   They get their point across in confrontation through speaking loud, using violent behavior and verbal abuse.

We are not responsible for another person's actions nor can we be in control of what another does or says. We must always take responsibility for ourselves, no one else. When we are in conflict there are no winners. We must seek for the peace of God, He is the winner.

In our quest to defend ourselves without being violated or attacked, we offer resistance during the conflict. This we do whether we are right or wrong.  It is the nature of man to be in control. Not too many want to be wrong or even be corrected in the face of confrontation.

When people resist something that someone is saying, it causes us to lash out or become uneasy within ourselves.  This is when we can know that we are resisting the words that have been spoken to us.  Resistance is a powerful thing. We practice it without even being aware.

The scripture plainly tells us that we do not war against flesh and blood.  Why then are our biggest battles in life with people, flesh and blood?  Why do we lash out at people we love the most; friends and even strangers when we are confronted with a challenge that rubs us the wrong way?

In my search for maintaining a godly attitude when facing conflict, I asked God why is it that I seem to get argumentative when someone upsets me or opposes my way of thinking?  This is what he spoke to me:

                       The only way to release someone of an offense is to stop the resistance that lodges in the mind.  The only way you can stop resistance in the mind is to stop rehearsing the offence. We will never be able to stop confrontation.  It is a part of life.  Man, born of a woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.  Job 14:1.  How we handle confrontation is another challenge and story within itself.  We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. It can be done! We can no longer blame our parents, teachers, or circumstances for the way we use words in conflict. God wants us to go to another level in Him.

The unexpected will get you going in another direction, so you must always watch and be on your guard for change.  You can be headed in a positive direction when you make your plans for the day, and before you know it confrontation can send you in a totally different direction. Watch as well as pray, and remember you are not a loser because you choose to show self control. Winners understand the value and power of words in times of conflict and know that death and life are in the power of the tongue.  Words have a power that can leave invisible imprints on the soul.  We must be careful and ask God to govern what we say so that  we speak words of life. When you recognize that someone other than God has altered your path, step back, take a look, release it and let it go.  You are worth it! See you at the top. Never Give-Up-Never!  Dorcas C. "We Are Healed"
Healing Scriptures

 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith..
Mark 11:23

 "And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: for she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.  But Jesus turned him about and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.  And the woman was made whole from that hour"
Matthew 9:20-22

 "And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.  And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:  and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?  They said unto him, Yea, Lord.  Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.  And their eyes were opened".
Matthew 9:27-30

Seasons Change

To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die;
a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill and a time to heal ...
a time to weep and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn and a time to dance ...
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to lose and a time to seek;
a time to rend and a time to sew;
a time to keep silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
